Woodburning, also known as pyrography, is believed to date back to prehistory, with evidence of early woodburning found in artifacts from before the first century AD in places like Peru and Roman Britain; it was likely practiced by early humans who created designs using the charred remains of fires, with the earliest documented examples coming from the Han Dynasty in China where it was called "Fire Needle Embroidery." In America, the first settlers and Indians were the first known Woodburners in this country. We don't use lasers or engravers that is not the true art of woodburning.
